Whatever frequency you choose, your support gives this ministry reliable funds necessary to provide food, clothing, showers and hygiene, medical, dental, pharmaceutical, and vision care, counseling, social, and spiritual services, and housing support.

Why give?

  • The 2023 Annual Point-in-Time Count found over 2,600 unhoused people in Arkansas on the night of the count.

River City Ministry offers wrap-around services and place out of the elements during the day, five days a week.

  • The majority of unhoused people are concentrated in Central Arkansas, especially the greater Little Rock area where we live and serve.

  • Statistically, the average unhoused person is in their late fifties and has multiple chronic health conditions.

River City Ministry offers charitable medical care and insurance navigation through volunteer providers and community partnerships.

  • Over half a million Arkansans struggle with hunger and food insecurity. That’s one-in-five adults and one-in-four children!

River City Ministry offers breakfast and lunch each weekday and seasonally on Sundays along with food pantry services twice each week. In 2024, we served about 50,000 meals!

Many are also hungry for spiritual food. River City Ministry offers daily devotionals and weekly Bible study to feed the soul.

  • Arkansans have the worst oral health in the nation, ranking below every other state and Washington DC!

River City Ministry operates a two-chair charitable dental clinic, offering around 1,500 dental appointments each year.

  • One-in-five unhoused people are chronically homeless, meaning they have been without housing for 12 months or more or experienced repeated periods of homelessness in the past 12 month. Even when they obtain housing, the shift can be difficult and many return to homelessness if they have no support system.

River City Ministry offers transitional housing to help formerly homeless people or people at risk of homelessness navigate these life changes by building community, developing discipleship, providing wrap-around services, and offering affordable rent.
